Bernhard Kegel, born 1953, studied chemistry and biology at the Free University of Berlin, then worked in research, as an ecological consultant, and as a lecturer. Since 1993, he has published numerous novels and<br />nonfiction books. His books have received several journalism awards. Most recently published by DuMont:<br />"The Nature of the Future" (2021) and "Saving the World with Plants" (2024); the latter was nominated for the German Nonfiction Prize 2025.
