Christian Schnalke has read, loved, and lived books since he can remember. He studied literature and philosophy and has written six novels, a Broadway play, and numerous screenplays for successful films (most recently a film about Johann Sebastian Bach, which was broadcast on ARD for Christmas 2024). His novel Louma is currently being made into a movie. Christian Schnalke lives in Cologne with his books, and his family.
