Nikolaus Heidelbach lives in Cologne. He has received many awards for his picture books and illustrations. For his complete works he received the special prize of the German Youth Literature Award 2000. The edition of “Märchen der Gebrüder Grimm“ (The Fairytales of the Brothers Grimm) which he selected and illustrated in 1995 was as acclaimed as his edition of the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen, published in 2004.
Wiglaf Droste is author, columnist and singer. He lives on the way or in Berlin. In 2003 he received the Ben-Witter-Award for his “combination of rough tone and fine style“, and in 2005 the Annette-von-Droste-Hülshoff-Award. Since 1999 he has been publishing the magazine “Häuptling Eigener Herd“ (Chief Own Oven) together with Vincent Klink.
Vincent Klink cooks in his own Michelin-starred Restaurant Wielandshöhe in Stuttgart (district Degerloch). On television one can take a look at his cooking (“ARD-Buffet”, “Vincent Klinks Kochkunst”). Among other things he has published the culinary yearbook “Rübe” (Turnip) at Haffmans and Klett-Cotta’s “Kulinarischen Almanach” (Culinary Almanac).
Wiglaf Droste ist Dichter, Gelegenheitssänger und Vorleser, er lebt unterwegs oder in Leipzig. 2003 wurde ihm für seine ›Verbindung aus grobem Ton und feinem Stil‹ der Ben-Witter-Preis verliehen, 2005 der Annette-von-Droste-Hülshoff-Preis. 2009 war er Stadtschreiber zu Rheinsberg. Seit 1999 gibt er zusammen mit Vincent Klink die kulinarische Kampfschrift ›Häuptling Eigener Herd‹ heraus.
